About us
A place of love and care.
Acts 2:46-47. Living Praise Parish Scunthorpe is a Praise Centre, where we praise God intentionally, and our prayers of today become the testimonies of tomorrow.
Our story
One parish of a worldwide family.
Living Praise Parish Scunthorpe (RCCG LIPPS) was established in September 2012, and we are steadily growing. We are joining forces with our sister parishes in the UK to establish missions in every part of the world.
We are one of the parishes of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, a worldwide church organisation established in 1952 with a mandate to preach the gospel of salvation to the whole world, in obedience to the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Church is a Bible believing body, where teaching and missionary approach emphasise holiness and righteous living as fundamental keys to a fulfilled life here and in eternity. Its foundation is prayer and the teaching of the full counsel of God, through which people are helped to discover their God given destiny and empowered to develop to their maximum potential, to the glory of God.
Our vision
“A Place of Love and Care for All”, where with the help of the Holy Spirit we raise, prepare and equip Christians who, through prayer and holy living, express their ministry gifts, guiding us to help and positively impact lives and win souls for Christ.

Leadership
Led by Apex Olawepo.
Pastor Apex Olawepo leads the parish alongside a team of ministry leaders drawn from the congregation. If you want to speak to someone before you visit, he would rather you asked than wondered.
The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God is Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye. The wider church hosts the Festival of Life all-night prayer meeting in London, and monthly Holy Ghost Services in Nigeria on the first Friday of each month.
In the community
Beyond the hall.
Through our Neighbourly project we support welfare, emotional wellbeing and practical help across North Lincolnshire, for people inside the church and well outside it.
