Accessibility
Usable by everyone.
We want this site to work for as many people as possible, including those using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, or a magnified display.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means readable colour contrast, text that resizes without breaking the layout, meaningful alternative text on images, and pages that can be navigated by keyboard alone.
What we have done
Every image on the site carries a text description. Headings run in a logical order so screen readers can navigate by structure. Interactive elements show a visible focus outline. The layout reflows down to a 390 pixel screen without horizontal scrolling, and respects a reduced-motion preference by stopping the scrolling announcements bar.
Known problems
We know about the following and intend to fix them:
- Some photographs are lower resolution than we would like and may look soft on a large or high-density screen.
- Sermon videos hosted on YouTube rely on automatic captions, which are not always accurate.
Telling us about a problem
If you find something on this site you cannot use, please email info@rccglivingpraisescunthorpe.com and tell us what happened and what you were trying to do. We will reply and, where we can, fix it.
