Plan your visit

Your first Sunday.

You do not need to know anyone, dress a certain way or bring anything. Turn up, sit anywhere, and let us do the rest.

What happens

How a Sunday runs.

10:00am

Sunday School

Teaching in smaller groups before the main service.

11:00am

Worship

Singing, prayer and the offering. Loud, warm, unhurried.

Around 11:40am

The word

Roughly forty minutes of teaching, straight from the text.

Afterwards

Tea and people

Nobody rushes off. Stay, and let us meet you properly.

The 3rd Sunday of the month starts 10:00am for early morning prayers. Thanksgiving Service falls on the first Sunday of every month.

Before you come

The practical bits.

Where exactly are you?

26 Ravendale Street North, Scunthorpe DN15 6NJ, in the centre of Scunthorpe. It is a short walk from the town centre and the bus station.

What should I wear?

Whatever you own. Some dress up, some come straight from a shift. Neither is wrong.

What about my children?

Children are welcome in the service and in our children’s ministry. Teenagers have their own group.

Can I come online instead?

Yes. Sunday services stream on YouTube and Wednesday Bible study runs on Zoom as well as in the hall.

Will I be put on the spot?

No. You are welcome to say nothing, give nothing and simply watch. Come as many times as you like on those terms.

Tell us you are coming

Optional, but it means someone will be looking out for you at the door.

Come and see

Visit Living Praise.

Join us any Sunday at 11:00am in central Scunthorpe. Tea afterwards, always.
