What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it, under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

What we collect
Through the forms on this site we collect your name, email address and whatever you choose to write in the message. If you send a prayer request, we collect what you tell us in it. If you give and claim Gift Aid, we collect your name, address and a declaration.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
Why we can use it
For enquiries, prayer requests and planning a visit, our lawful basis is your consent: you chose to contact us. For Gift Aid, it is our legal obligation to HMRC. For keeping the site secure and working, it is our legitimate interest.
Who we share it with
Prayer requests go to the pastoral team and stay with them. Gift Aid declarations go to HMRC. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else without asking you first.
Our website host and email provider process data on our behalf under contract, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and prayer requests only as long as we need them to respond and to care for you well, and we review them periodically. Gift Aid records are kept for at least six years, as HMRC requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to us using it, or ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
